More Than Beauty and Skin
Our products represent a lifestyle of actively pursuing wholeness, health and healing, and are handcrafted in small batches or made to order, and are either vegan, organic, or natural. Never animal tested.
K. Willow has been years in the making, but I did not, nor could I, do this alone. I am standing on the shoulders of my mom, her mother and her mother's mother. These women modeled life well for me and every part of this business honors them and my upbringing in some way, down to the logo and the colors in it.
I take my daughter role seriously. This endeavor is much more than a side hustle and much more than beauty and skin. This company represents my life full circle--helping my grandmother package and deliver Avon products; me at 12 years old when my skincare routine was Noxzema, witch hazel and Ambi; and then way back when, doing pageantry and seeing there were not enough beauty and skin care options on the shelves for Black women and women of color.
Fast forward, I am a skincare enthusiast and an advocate for beauty and skin health equity. And after receiving far too many negative messages about my skin and appearance, I am on a mission to help individuals love the skin they're in. Literally. Health is wealth, and skincare is part of total health. Confidence is part of that formula, too!
On Mission
I also am a sister to women I know and millions more I've never met; that matters to me. And because of my life journey and the journeys of my sisters in spirit, K. Willow is more than a beauty and skin care company, it's a mission-centered company.
As we grow and scale, we will provide charitable support to women and teen girls in crisis -- be it a medical crisis (physical or mental), abuse, bullying, trauma from racism or other social injustice, financial, or women are criminal-justice involved.
We also have an eye on sustainability, which means we'll be committed to finding sourcing, packaging and shipping solutions that are environmentally friendly.

Transparency about Our Ingredients
K. Willow inspires hope, health and healing with its handcrafted skin and beauty products. As much as possible, we use vegan ingredients. However, not all of our products are vegan. We sometimes use milk products, honey and beeswax. We source organic honey from local sources and only use organic beeswax.
Some of our products are made with natural or organic ingredients. The terms "natural" and "organic" are not interchangeable. Here are the differences among vegan, natural and organic beauty and skincare products:
Natural = At least 95 percent of the ingredients must be derived from plants, or some other renewable source and are not tested on animals. Natural products can contain chemicals, in contrast to organic products, which cannot contain any chemicals. A good rule of thumb for natural products is that they are between 50% and 70% chemical free.
An example of a natural K. Willow product is our Avocado soap.
Organic = An organic product has between 95% and 100% chemical-free ingredients. The product ingredients are grown without chemicals, pesticides, or artificial fertilizers.
K. Willow body scrubs are natural and organic.
